OXFORD: Egg Hunting in Oxford

For this year’s Easter weekend the weather forecast announced rainy and cloudy weather, which is why I chose to spend a couple of days in Oxford instead of somewhere on the English coast.

Oxford is in South East England with a population of around 165,000. I had heard so much about this small city which is famous for it’s University, the oldest university in England and also, because a lot of films and TV dramas were filmed there.

Harry Potter for example filmed scenes at the Divinity School, in the Bodleian Library, the Duke Humfrey’s Library and in the Christ Church College’s dining hall. Furthermore, Oxford is known to be the birthplace of Alice in Wonderland.
