Every single morning I woke up from the beeping of car horns, the dryness and the heat. I could hardly sleep...
Anyway, I put on my trainers and we walked down Nanshan Road to get to Laifeng pagoda first, where you can see the beautiful Westlake from the top, and especially the three pools mirroring the moon.
We actually wanted to get a wood boat tour, but could not get any as for this weekend the Westlake International Firework Festival had been planned and fireworks had been positioned all over the lake.
Next, we decided to go to the Dragon Well Village where the Longjing tea plants are.
Longjing tea is the most common tea in this city. Every single woman at their house offered some tea, of course for a special price. We decided to go to a random place where they served the famous Westlake fish and the Longjing tea.
The fish came with a brown sauce and was very delicious. The tea might be a bit bitter on first taste, but you grow to like it!
